Susan McVie, Senior Research Fellow within the School of Law at the University of Edinburgh, and David McCracken, Lothian and Borders Police.

The aim of this session was to provide police officers with a practical introduction to the Scottish Crime Survey and Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics, including examples of the types of information that can be elicited and how this might be used to inform operational policing.
