Beyond our police partners and HEI members, SIPR collaborates in various ways with a range of organisations, including for example: 

SIPR has also liaised with other entities including the Drugs Research Network Scotland, Scottish Parliament Criminal Justice Committee, the Children and Young People’s Centre for Justice, and via specific groups and research projects, for example:

Via the Independent Advisory Group on Emerging Technologies and Policing SIPR worked with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the Scottish Human Rights Commission, Equality and Human Rights Commission, Law Society of Scotland, Scottish Biometrics Commissioner, Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, techUK and the Accelerated Capability Environment at the Home Office.

The UKRI funded Scottish Policing Academic Centre of Excellence received Letters of Support from Police Scotland, the Scottish Police Authority, HMICS, Public Health Scotland, the Scottish Government, Scottish Women’s Aid, Victim Support Scotland, SafeLives, SVRU, The National Police Wellbeing Service – Oscar Kilo and The Risk Management Authority.
