I have received intelligence analysis training from multiple agencies to include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the United States Secret Service. Before coming to UVU and Utah DPS, I served in the United States Army for 7 years as an Aviation Operations Specialist. My time in service placed me in the Middle East during the 9/11 attacks of 2001. As a victim's advocate I responded to various crime scenes and assisted crime victim's with addressing immediate physical, mental, and emotional needs. I also assisted law enforcment in obtaining case evidence and testified in court as an expert in my field. I obtained a Master’s Degree in National Security and Terrorism Studies with honors from the American Military University.
