Event Briefing

We are delighted to invite SIPR postgraduate research students to join us for a workshop on how to develop and design your perfect poster for the SIPR Postgraduate Symposium 2022. The workshop is open to any student currently part of the SIPR postgraduate research community or wanting to join us in the future, studying at a Scottish higher education institution and looking at a policing related subject.

This course is aimed at Postgraduate Research students and Research staff.

You will learn how to use PowerPoint as an effective tool for creating large posters e.g. A0, A1, A2, etc. Very useful for presenting your research data.

During the course you will have the opportunity to create an A0 poster using PowerPoint, inserting backgrounds, titles, text, graphics, and charts (images and text will be supplied).

If you have signed up to present your poster at the SIPR postgraduate symposium this will be the perfect opportunity for you to get started on your poster. If you are presenting on oral presentation, this will be a great opportunity to prepare for your next conference.

We look forward to welcoming you to this workshop.

Your SIPR postgraduate research co-ordinators,

Simon and Larissa
